FYI. It will show if either of us delete a post. Usually has a reason for the deletion.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Any report on Newton? Havent heard anything from there. I know a ton of people who fish it for bass, but I haven't been around any that have been over there. And, I've heard there are actually some good crappie in that lake. I've never fished it for them! Any word on that?

I was just alerted to this post and had 2 chime in. Neither one of the 2 individuals on the first page gave out too much information. There are zero locations mentioned only a ramp condition. Let's keep in mind that you still have to know what you are doing when it comes to the info they gave. Sangchris isn't a tie off and set around with corks type of lake and fill the live well anyway. You have to put in work like these 2 to be able to catch this amount of fish. It is still a 10 fish limit is it not? Maybe these guys should post if they actually filleted the fish, cause there is a good possibility they didn't. This is not pressure, come up to evergreen during the spawn and see the 200 boats in a lake not even half the size of sangchris. People are tied up to tress everywhere and it's been that way since 1997 that I have witnessed. But you know what it is still a good lake and you can't determine pressure by trucks in a lot because that isn't reality. Keep up the posts guys a lot of us wish we could get out there with ya.

Newton has been hit and miss on crappie according to a few guys I've spoken to. A lot of 9-10" fish just nothing worth bragging about. I am either heading there or sangchris this weekend since there is going to be a little warm up

i'd like to know what the water temp is and how much the lake came up from the snow melt.Last time i was at sangchris it was very low and the temp was only running around 48-52 up by the hot water ditch.I caught alot of short fish in 3-5 foot of water chasing bait fish.i think 50 dinks to 1 quality keeper. It was fun catching a bunch of fish but it's kinda nice to hook into a quality keep every once in a while then 1 a hour
