sad when two guys can't sinply post a fishing message without grown men acting this way. will not post anymore on this site
I have made several posts on this thread and If I have said anything here that has upset anyone I do apologize for it. That isn't my intentions but every now and then the fingers engage before the brain does and it happens.
:popcorn
I post my reports as like how the fish bite was, what I was using like jig size and wieght and color, what brand of tube and color or if I used a minner. Also what body of water, always Shelbyville, what part of the lake, how deep I was fishing and how I was fishing, jigging, trolling or casting. Even what time of the day. When too many people start fishing that area or when it starts getting hard to fish that area, I simply just move and find another spot. I go and catch my limit and leave, I don't hog an area. If someone comes by and ask hows I'm doing, I will tell them everything that I'm doing especially if they have kids fishing with them. I have even gone as far as giving them some tubes or minners if they don't have any. My reports are always up to date, I don't wait a week or two. And if you see me on the water then I will have you follow me around. Thats the way it is and the way it sould be. So lets just pray for some warmer weather and lets go fishing.
CrappieXtreme, dkb, I posted "10-4! Message received, sir." immediately after message #35 and it never appeared. Why is that? Did it get deleted too?
Nope. I didn't touch that one?
I didn't delete the post in question.
CX.
FYI. It will show if either of us delete a post. Usually has a reason for the deletion.
Any report on Newton? Havent heard anything from there. I know a ton of people who fish it for bass, but I haven't been around any that have been over there. And, I've heard there are actually some good crappie in that lake. I've never fished it for them! Any word on that?
I was just alerted to this post and had 2 chime in. Neither one of the 2 individuals on the first page gave out too much information. There are zero locations mentioned only a ramp condition. Let's keep in mind that you still have to know what you are doing when it comes to the info they gave. Sangchris isn't a tie off and set around with corks type of lake and fill the live well anyway. You have to put in work like these 2 to be able to catch this amount of fish. It is still a 10 fish limit is it not? Maybe these guys should post if they actually filleted the fish, cause there is a good possibility they didn't. This is not pressure, come up to evergreen during the spawn and see the 200 boats in a lake not even half the size of sangchris. People are tied up to tress everywhere and it's been that way since 1997 that I have witnessed. But you know what it is still a good lake and you can't determine pressure by trucks in a lot because that isn't reality. Keep up the posts guys a lot of us wish we could get out there with ya.
Id love to head to sangchris tomorrow with my dad. But ain't got a clue what to look for there.. Haven't been in over 3 years but that's what makes it fun sometimes!
Look for Crappie scout and cropee7
i'd like to know what the water temp is and how much the lake came up from the snow melt.Last time i was at sangchris it was very low and the temp was only running around 48-52 up by the hot water ditch.I caught alot of short fish in 3-5 foot of water chasing bait fish.i think 50 dinks to 1 quality keeper. It was fun catching a bunch of fish but it's kinda nice to hook into a quality keep every once in a while then 1 a hour
Anyone else see this has 6700 views, less than 20 days. That has to be some sort of state record!
Crappie Scout said it was going over spillway, been a while for that one. With that being said a lot of main lake trees should produce. Good luck
All I know is my dad and I thumbs are plum tore up!!!!
Maiden voyage of 2014 today. I fished primarily around the East landing. Water was around 50-53. Plenty of fish but 0 keepers.
Lowrance. What depth did you get into the bigger fish? I didn't get out there until noon and left around 3:30.
I figured. Iv always heard that there is some variation between birds and lowrance. Bigger fish were caught in 2-5ft but there was some real key reasons as to why they were where we found them. We had ten keepers from 930-2 and I don't know how many freaking unders and then from 2-330 we had boated 16 more fish over 10". We had warm water blowing into where we were, plus deep water near by, plus spawning grounds, plus mega shad.
Shad and spawning grounds sounds so good together.
Nice work!
Now come on guys, your giving me the itch to fish, water just need to get a little more soft.
You're a dirty dog Birdie!!!!!
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/09/3ehanu6e.jpg Got a sore thumb after catching probably 200+ of these guys all day. Got a limit but had to fight through the dinks. 53° water produced the bulk of fish caught. Never went deeper than 3'. A fun Saturday at sangchris
The Ol black nose. Nice fish.
Man, seeing that black nose really makes me want to go back to Norfork Lake in Arkansas. We catch a lot of really nice ones down there in April and May.
hughes did those come out of the hot arm Im trolling motor only on sangchris
No I never got anywhere close to the hot ditch. I was over around the cemetery
