Better bring some minners too if they're deep and $5 to park your vehicle. Weekends are busy, many bassers.

I usually fish at lake wappapello in missouri but i think its going to be froze solid this weekend....thinking about heading to lake egypt. My dad and i have fished there before and jad some success but its been years since ive been there. Any good tips? We use floaters and jigs and typically fish in open water. If anyone can hook me up, i can definatly repay the favor if your ever at wappapello on a weekend in the winter. Thanks
Winner winner chicken dinner.......Hooty Hoo!!!

Early to bed, early to rise,
Fish like hell, make up lies.
Not much open water today on Egypt.. pretty much all froze up except for the N. part of the main lake, close to the power plant. I have been here for 10 years and never seen it this frozen!
Fish on the wind blown side of the lake on the hot water end... you'll probably see boats catching fish if it's cloudy. That's where they'll be. Just find the warmest water near bank from the weedline out to casting distance is your best bet I'd say. And your style of fishing is what is working now just maybe not in open water a bit closer to bank.

Plant must be down!
Nope! It's running, but only affects the far north portion of the main lake (ski area). Most of the bays are froze solid...
What ramp is open for boat traffic?
Paradise and Macks should both be open. Ice is coming and going.
