Camo, hope you make it to Arthur. Farmboy and i are going and maybe a couple of other coworkers. i have been looking at the Ozarks for some time now. I have never used a rod over 7' and have been thinking about trying. Hope to see you there!

ehall, once you fell the thump on a long rod, you'll be hooked, LOL. I don't use anything under 10', not even for casting. It'll take you a little while to get the hang of casting a long rod but you'll get use to it.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Thats it, I'm speed dialing my bank loan officer! LOL. I love this site! I have been drooling over these Ozark rods for a while now, and if all goes well, look to pull the trigger soon. What reel do you use on yours? Casting is about all i am doing in Illinois, that and what organizing i can, 12 inches or more of ice!

I use pfleuger spinning reels on them and with the longer rods I never actually cast them i'ts easier to flip and with the long rods you can flip a jig and slip bobber 100' easy.Casting those long rods will wear you out in a days time.

I love corking with my 10' b&m . If I ever use a slip bobber though (which is rarely) I use my 7' crappie Max rod.

I am looking forward to seeing them. I've read a lot of reviews on CDC about the Ozarks. They seem bullet proof. I enjoy casting and flipping and collecting equipment and tackle, benefits of an uncle who was obsessed. Oh yeah, and fishing! Lol. Camp I will be there Saturday!
