I use the pfleuger's also. I wouldn't use anything with less than 3 ball bearing, the pfleuger reals has 4.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Which models? I have 5 Shimano's on the way, but have rods all ready waiting on them.

I originally read through several long pole advertisers in the
Grizzly jig catalog and the owner for Ozarks grabbed my attention, he is posing with two monster slabs and i immediately noticed his stainless tips. Now this main sound anal, but i started bass fishing back in 85 when i got out of the service and i have always had a penchant for stainless tips and eyes! I really prefer them and about all anyone makes anymore is ceramic insert rods. I am having a new tip put on a Dobyns baitcasting rod that is less than a year old, because the ceramic somehow cracked. Started fraying my flouro line, could have cost me a fish. Anyway i am sold, cant wait for Saturday, I have a spot ready out in my shop for any new aquisitions! Thanks for all the info.
