You should be fine but rain and cold fronts are a pain in April sometimes.Keep an eye on this site prior to your trip to have an idea of whats going on. I'm sure you can get alot of info before you get here.Good luck

Any one of the fine guides on the lake will do you good. I got turkey hunting that weekend and will be looking for schrooms in the afternoon but might take the boat out for a bit to get some fish.

Thank you guys!! Mushroom hunting is our back up if the fishing isn't happening. We are staying at "our old house"

Don Satterfield who owns our old house could point you in the right direction for fish, he guides also. You will be staying right down the road from my house.

Thanks for the info! I will talk to Don! That house looks like the ticket for a group of guys! Don was also super nice to do business with! Come down for a cold beer or soda that weekend!
