Well it wasn't the best fishing I have had on Lake XX but when you got good company and nice weather and 43 bass boats to fish around a fish or two is a bonus. We did catch a couple nice fish though. Had a great time Tim hope we can do it again sometime...

I am taking your advice and naming the lakes XX and YY that i fish. They do get extremely crowded and not everyone demonstrates "do unto others"! I dont even want to start on the massive amounts of litter i come across on what would otherwise be pristine fishing areas. I cant believe what people will toss on the ground and walk away from, sickening! I love the posts, keep 'em coming please!
Most men spend their entire life fishing, without realizing its not the fish they are after!

I'm sure everything got fished that day Tim. Looks like New Years day the high is 45* if you want to go I'm all in. The weekend might be the best bet if you can't do the 1st. It will be a little colder and fishing show going on we mite have a few places to fish. The last few years that back fired on us with the mild weather we had during the shows. They need to set up there booths were the action is @ 7:00 am and at the met and great at the weigh in...lo.l I would much rather buy something from a vender with icicle hinging from his beard, just seems like he's one of the gang. We do the Elwood show and it's the last show of the year. Most of the proceeds go to the schools sports program. These kids work hard and unload and load your truck when the show has ended. Jeff runs a fine show and he will even take all the venders out for happy hour at the Hick'ry Stick on night. Show dates are March 2nd 3rd. Hope to see a lot of you there. We will be in booth 98 in the hall were they have chief Todd do all the cooking.
