Jerry I'm not sure on the drawdown but I know for a fact there is muskies being caught right now down there. As a matter of fact, a 50"er was caught the other day.

I know the normal winter drawdown of lake s-ville, usually starts the 15 of dec. Because of the work on the dam, does anyone know for sure, when it will start this year? I like to go down there when the lake is frozen, to see if I can catch one of those tooty critters.

Yessir
only place to fish there now is all the way up at the wall, rest is froze tight all the way to bridge.
The winter draw down is being delayed again this year to hold water in case it is needed for navigation purposes on the Mississippi River. It appears it will be delayed until mid January.
I went down to the dam today, and there was a crane sitting on top of it, so they must be doing some work. A trickle of water coming through and it is open up by the dam, but no toothy buggers wanted to hit my baits. No one seems to want to comment on whether or not Clinton is open. Luke??????
Joes bait said mascoutin ramp is open and around the dewitt bridge is open but fishing has been slow. He said plant could come back on today and fishing should get back to the norm by the weekend. Rick
I will abide
Thanks Rick. I'm having fishing withdrawls as it's been 9 days since I've caught a fish. Hope someone lets us know when the plant starts back up, as I've been there when it wasn't running and fishing isn't as good.
