Default Last Trip of 2013 to the ville?

I made it out to shelbyville this morning for what might be the last trip of 2013 with this cold spell coming. What a beautiful day with overcast conditions and the wind just ended up dying for quite a while. I played around quite a while catching and releasing knowing it could be the last trip and got some pretty neat videos (I think anyways) off of just a couple spots. Most of them im using a bobber and one im tightlining. The water is so stinkin clear right now I actually had better sucess on some spots where I was able to back off the pile and pop a cork across it. I love doing it this way anyways. Water temps were 37-39 about everywhere I went from coal shaft into wilborn and red/chartreuse and white/chartreuse were my colors. I ended the year on a nice limit with a coupla 12.5" fish and one of them was caught on the first video I took. The lake is still on fire and if I were to go again I would target 10-15ft on brush or I know lots of fish are being caught on standing wood too. Here is a couple videos and a picture.

Click on all the pictures for the video of each one!

    Sorry for the chit word...

That was some cool video birdie. It brings a tear to my eye to think that the ice is going to put an end to alll this great fall fishing. Oh well, it's out of my hands. Been saying a lot of that this year.

Thanks for the videos Tyler. I enjoyed them. I am sad to see the season come to a close. I didn't get out nearly enough this year.

Nice videos. Lake freezing over just means that coyote hunting is on....Love the cold and snowy weather.

Looks good! Thanks for sharing! Think spring time!!!!!!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
