Thread: Where to go in Mississippi

How big of boat. and what time in the spring are wanting to go, If you have big enough boat I would say Sardis and you can stay at the cabins if there is any available. Your best bet for a guide would be Carl Painter 901/734-7536 better know as Feeley on here. Go check him out on the Mississippi board. Sardis can get pretty rough anytime of year but seems to be the worse in the spring. The next choice would be Gernada and they are having spring camp on the 29th of March would be a great time to go to meet a lot of people learn a lot

Need to make up your mind and get reservations pretty quick. Everything fills up pretty quick for the spring time fishing. Also Feelay will get booked early also. Best there is on Sardis.

Only have an 18.5 foot bass tracker forgot about weather in March. Thanks for advice. I'm probably late in getting set for the spring .. Thanks

Boat is big enough unless really really windy. We are going down for Spring Crappie Camp the weekend of March 29 and the last I knew there was still cabins available for then. Go online to reserve america and look up Grenada lake campground Hugh White or Sardis John W Kyle and see what is available. Get Feelay to guide you on Sardis for a day fish it another day and then be down to Grenada for the weekend and get all the advice of the local experts for there. A great bunch of guys that will help you all they can to catch fish. But like cray said you will have to get going to get a cabin and Feelay. There are always rooms close by at the hotels on the interstate.
