that fish may have been measured a few different times per day if it was near a bridge, deep hooked, dropped in the floor a time or two, stepped on, posed for trophy pics with small children etc... its reward will be a slow death.

Maybe it's just a fluke or maybe I haven't noticed before, but the last few trips to Rend have all produced at least 1 fish over 10" that was extremely thin. Almost skin and bones thin. Didn't really notice at the time they were caught, but the flesh was also very white although they appeared healthy enough otherwise. Wouldn't think they reached the 10+ range by dieting. Maybe a swim bladder injury or they spent all summer with a jig in their throat. Certainly not a food shortage in the lake. Anyone else seen/seeing similar?
