    Default Rend today.

Crappie bit fairly good today and we couldn't keep the cats off the hook. Fishing main lake drop offs with brush or stumps on them in 10-15 fow. Fishing jigs 12" off the bottom, best color was green/chart. Ended up keeping 40 overs, 9 unders, and 10 cats.

I'm jealous. I keep wanting to hit Rend, but am always intimidated since I just have downscan sonar and no type of mapping software. I think trying to find these deep stakebeds will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I do have a GPS though, just not sure where to begin on the Corp sets. Then trying to stay on top of them, well that's a whole other issue.

Can't find em sitting at home. Give it a whirl! You can find a needle in a hay stack. Done it before....persistence pays in crappie fishin!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
