Ville Today
Chickenguy and I decided we would try and find some ville fishes that wanted to play today. We got to the lake about 11ish and found the vast majority of it to be iceeeeed up from wolf to as far as we could see past pt2. We broke skim ice mixed in with some areas of open water and finally got to an area I like to fish this time of year. Cleared ice and started catching some fish. By the end of the day the lake was primarily open and clear of ice. Was a beautiful day out there with little wind and lots of sunshine. We put together a nice pattern and had 22 keepers and probably had between 55-75 fish caught. Fishing deep, anywhere from 12-22ft deep over 15-35fow. Fish were actually hitting it hard! Add in several green carps and some white bass and it was a real fun day! Water temps were 34ish most everywhere we went. Im ready for some warmer weather...
