They know every trail too! I was fishing and heard some commotion up in the timber, I thought maybe a deer had been flushed my way by a hunter. I looked over and here came Jerry. It was early, so my brain was a little foggy, and it took a minute for me to process it. I said, "I thought you were a deer!" and he said he'd been called a lot of things, but never a deer. I guess you had to be there!

Matt==I went back there this morning and had a fish on the first cast again. They stopped a little bit earlier and I had to go hit some spots at Wilborn. Man, what beautiful fishing weather. Looks like maybe that is going to end soon.

Hey Jerry- I just got back from there...after going all Louis and Clark trying to find that trail-which I eventually did, I had no luck at all fishing. I caught 2 unders and that was it. The water was like glass, could've had something to do w/it. Maybe the warm temps, or maybe it was the angler. who knows, but at least you did better than me. How was Wilborn?

they not only know every brushpile but i fish a lot with jerry and delmar, Delmar will say if you look over there at that tree on the far bank and cast out 30 feet or so there is a huge stump, Delmar is a human gps.. Jerry is just as bad as delmar, the only thing ol jer has on delmar is pink birds that show up in his front yard sometimes. lol

It'll be a few more months until those pink birds migrate back. Usually around the end of march. You might want to keep track of your yard too.
