    Default The Ville today!

Great day on the water today and cant wait till tomorrow. Probably caught 100 or so and imposing a 11 inch limit tomorrow because I tossed a bunch of dandies back when I went exploring after I had my limit. The #127 Birdman Special was by far and away the color to have today, I had it on the 1/8 wirekeeper with our custom lightwire #2 hook in our Trutruese Glo , did catch a pair of 12+ in on the 106 Reverse Chicken Glo in the Stalker style but that was about it for that color today as well as a few on the 124 Ky Lake Pearl. I might also add that I was using the Slab Flappy Magnum with 1 lobe bit off so it fit the hook right. Some people are scared of the size of it when they see it but dont be, I caught my share of 6-8 inchers on it also. Everything was on brush or stumps in 9-13ft. If your up in Wilborn tomorrow and see my Red Lowe Stinger stop and say hello if you want.

Nice going Pat, I thought you didn't fish up on the north end.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Nice catch Pat... I think I seen you fishing yesterday. We've been using Hook it baits and have had a lot of success with the plastic in some of the older styles. Need to update my tackle box.

Never had Pat till last Friday with Birdman, he has been preaching at me to learn it, so that's what I been doing the last couple days, side scanning, marking, and then trying, long ways to go.
