Should be some nice fish caught up in that area, and the way they are feeding should be some good weights too.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Someone will find a nice mess before the day is over. Looks like a little change in the weather forecast for Saturday. You just never know untill that morning what the weather is going to do.

Thanks to everyone that fished the tournament Saturday. We had some shaky weather in the morning but with a prayer or two it went off with out a hitch. A lot of nice fish were weighed in. Congratulation to the team of Penn/ Brozio for a great stringer of seven fish weighing in at 9.21 lb. Great job guys. Hope everyone had a good time and plenty to eat. I think we had some of lake Shelbyville best of the best fisherman yesterday. We have been thinking of a two day classic in the fall and not have our spring tournament. It seems our fall tournament puts out our best weights and everyone whats to fish the north end anyway. We would just have chili for the two day event and not have the sausage sandwich. Chili taste better the second day anyway. We would get some bigger trophies for the winners and big fish. The labels on the trophies would say Classic Champions or best of the best Lake Shelbyville team champions or what ever some one can come up with that sounds good. The entry would go up to $75.00 per boat and $10.00 for big fish and with a 80% payback. As it stands now we are at $50.00 per boat which includes big fish and a 70% payback. We got a whole year to refine everything to make it one of the best crappie tournaments the lake has to offer and be named the best team on Lake Shelbyville would be a honour for anyone. Lets hear some input on this one and see if we can make this tournament happen.

    Thanks Again

That sounds like a good tourney. but why not have your spring tourney and then you have the classic in the fall for the two day classic champion

Croppiemstr... thanks for your input. that's what we want to hear. If we can and everybody wants to have a spring tournament we will try to put one on. We will have to decide what ramp to have it at. It is harder to plan with all the other bass and crappie tournaments going on. It would be nice to have a small enclosed trailer to store everything in out of the weather like we had last Saturday morning. My boss has one we could fix up with a little work and money it would make a nice one. That way on the two day events we could put everything inside and lock it up and leave the trailer for the next day. Keep the ideas coming but just remember we only have 18 weeks until pre spawn...lol

You could always do a pre tourney meeting in the sprinf the friday night before the tourney and then do a crappie usa type launch. then you wouldnt have to use a boatramp to launch just have.a designated weigh in spot i would be glad to help fix up the trailer ken. send me your number thru pm and i will give you a call.

I'm with Croppiemeister. I definitely don't want to see away with any tournaments. I like the two day fall classic as well though. The more tournaments the better!

If you guys would join the scc you would get 2 more tourneys on shelbyville at least and next year the classic goes back there so you might see 3 scc club tourneys along with 2 opens. Just a thought.
