    Default Mattoon 10-28

Dad and I made it out from 9-2 on Sunday. We caught our fish in 6" to 8ft of water. Had a hard time finding a pattern. We would catch 5 fish the first 5 dips, then the bite would slow down until we moved again. Did well fishing brush piles and docks. We used 1/8th oz lead with pink/black, chart/black, and chart/red tubes. Just like Tyler said, when the sun faded, so did the fishing. We ended up with 7lbs of filets when done. Invited the whole family over to my grandma's to release them into lake crisco. Another good day fishing with my old man. Name: 2012-10-28_17-54-04_159.jpg

Nice day for sure. Get as many of those old man days as you can get, .... there is never enough of them.
