Hi, does anyone know any real good crappie lakes or ponds in the area?? I would REALLY appreciate it!!! Looking for somewhere to go during the ice season and i'm new at crappie fishing. THANKS

I am in the Heart of Chicago. So anywhere reasonable. I go to the chain a lot during the ice season but I am new at targeting. This is going to be my first year to really try to target Crappie!!! Shabbona was an idea. I have a hand held GPS with the lake maps and you can see all the structure in Shabbona, So that was an idea.?????? Thanks for your responses! I really can use the help!

Go to Geneva or Delavan in southern WI. Evergreen, near Bloomington would be the next choice. I live 10 miles from Shabbona and stay away as much as I can. However, I have killed them there this year.
