I have emailed him, seems like a great guy and very willing to help. His Pro-Elite series rods look really nice. I'm planning to pick up an outlaw 8'2" (Pro-Elite or Standard) this weekend.

Amidst all of the slabdaddy drama, I thought I would throw up some pictures and first impressions of my new Outlaw 8'2" setup to support one of the good things about cdc.
Outlaw Crappie & Walleye Pole, 8'2", Model C8.2C, IM7, 2 piece. www.anglermidwest.com. Paid about $45 from Bluff City Tackle in Alton, IL.
I have my Pflueger President on it with Vicious 10 lb braid with Ardent Line Butter sprayed on it. I really like the Vicious 10 lb, nice and limp, casts a mile, super strong. I like the long cork handle more than the foam handle on my Brushcutter. It is pretty well balanced and very light. Has a little rubber cap on the butt of the handle, complete with Made in China sticker. The rings on the reel seat were pretty tight and it would have been nice to have some checkering on the reel seat to keep my reel from rotating. There is also a very small amount of play where the reel seat meets the top half of the handle. It came with a year warranty with original receipt.
You can see the bright green tip, I don't think it glows but it's very hi-vis. It's got 9 eyelets and a slight taper- .30" diameter right above the handle, .25" right above the break, .20" right below the 4th eyelet, and .11" at the tip. I am taking it out for the first time Friday afternoon to bank fish the dam at Lake Charleston. Hopefully taking it to Shelby next week if the weather improves. I'll post something on how it fishes after taking it out a few times.
Anybody know what the actions are on their 7'2 or 8'2 rods?
How do any of these compare to the 7' 10' and 12' Sam Heaton's? I have the 7' and 10' and just love them. Thinking of getting a 12'.
