    Default Shelbyville Sunday May 1st

Was out early this morning around Skull Creek. Quite a bit of debris in the water. Only managed 7 keepers. Biggest was 13". Really couldn't get on to them. Only a couple here and there. Most were females out of about 12' of water near main lake. Tried 5'-8' deep with no luck. Figured I might pull some shallow males. The weather combined with the rising lake levels keeps me guessing. Did notice that a lot of trees seem to be sliding into the lake with the rising water.

I haven't tried a whole lot back in the coves. Anyone finding them in coves?

I launched out of Lone Point. I was suprised that we had the lake to ourselves on such a nice day.
