yep, you are right there,i have 2007 50hp yamaha,already new carbs and they have been rebuilt already.good warranty is the only way to go.

I have a 225 E-Tec. 2005, I can honestly say no problems of any kind. And when I bought my rig new in 2005
warranty was a big deal for me. Just my opinion.
