yep, you are right there,i have 2007 50hp yamaha,already new carbs and they have been rebuilt already.good warranty is the only way to go.

i was at rend lake marina they service the etecs from what seen i would not own one alot of 150hp to the 250hp in there blown up go with a merc that my personal oppinion.
I have 3 friends that have had a total of 8 of them in 2yrs!!! Lol yamaha the only way to go imo
i have a 07 90hp wey quiet easy on oil 4yrs so far no problems
I have a 225 E-Tec. 2005, I can honestly say no problems of any kind. And when I bought my rig new in 2005
warranty was a big deal for me. Just my opinion.
