    Default S-ville 10/21


    I haven't seen any posts for the last few days. Lsg and I have been fishing different patterns, both with some success. He has been running and gunning to coves and fishing laydowns, and I have been staying on main lake structure. Both have been producing. With mild winds, I have been getting limits, but today it was hard to fish the main lake in the wind. The fish are feeding and are full of shad.

    I think if you get out and try any of your patterns, you will get some fish. Enjoy the weather--winter is coming.

    I fished today and got another half limit. If I can get a crappie stretcher I would be doing good. Caught most of the keepers in the shallow water. When I tried deep The smaller the crappie got. I fished the north end from RR bridge to the Okaw Bluff. Lost a couple nice ones and a couple small ones.

    I would think you guys may be doing some multi-species catches while crappie fishin'. I have had a number of break offs and landed a few real nice fish other than crappie while fishin' for crappie.
