Default At it again on Rend Lake

Husband and I hit Rend Lake yesterday! Wow a day! Got on em in set in fairly shallow water. He caught 20, I caught 15 - nearly all fat and chunky. He is awesome guide.
Since I am new to this game, he is teaching me a lot. Important lesson of the day: do not go near anything (dip net, minnow net, carpet, shoe strings, etc.) with empty hook - it WILL get caught. We had a ball. He is even teaching me to fillet.

Way to go crappie chick! Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself out there.
Now it sounds like your not only cleaning the house but the fish as well....LOL!!!!
I've been married to my wife for 20 years and she too cleans fish when she goes fishing with me. Nothing better in the world to have a great woman that loves to fish or even put up with all the fishing that I get to do.

    Ha. That'sa good un.
Teachin you to fillet = he will git to drink (more) beer.
I got the beer thing down, just need somebuddy to show me how to fillet.
    It's possible I may need several lessons too. Cuz I'ma s l o w learner.

Welcome to the board. Glad to see you caught some fish. Sounds like you all had a good time on the water.
