Default Fun day but not many big ones

Haven't had the boat out in a couple of weeks, so went with a couple of friends. We caught a bunch of 9 3/4 inch fish but not too many overs. Anyone else having similar results? Water temp 68 degrees. We fished deep and shallow and most came in the 8-10 foot range, with a fat 13 inch fish that came at 17 feet, but he didn't have any friends. We stayed on the north end.

Sorry this post probably doesn't help much, but it's still fun to feel that thump.

    This thread does help!

I was out all weekend (19 hours total) and did worse than ever. Started out at Coal Shaft then worked way down to Eagle and coves on each side in between before finishing by the Wolf Creek ramp both days. Sunday I just worked that area and did worse than Saturday. Darn motor broke down again but I was able to troll out...

I am still waiting for the fish on Shelbyville and just hope it comes before waterfowl season...

PS. Rend was definitely on yesterday....

I took my dad out both Sunday and Monday and didn't catch anything worth bragging about besides a big buffy(25-30lbs)....sure was fun getting that monster in on 8lb test. Caught several small crappie but not hardly any over 9in and one fat 11in on Monday and that was pretty much it. I had to break out the crappie that we caught with LSG back in Apr. to feed him and my mom tonight. Sure wish I can get into them like Birdman does....that would be great. Thought about calling you XXL to find out where they were but sounds like you had better luck then we did. I think Zettler and I have the same luck on Shelbyville. Gonna go this weekend and try some minners.

I took a vacation day from work today. Me and my brother Brought home 25 today from Shelby, a couple of real nice ones. We had to work a llittle harder than we wanted to get em but,all is good. Nothing like feeling that Thump. Now I just need to figure out how to do it in 3 hr like Birdman.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
