Cold front coming

Not used to fishing crappie this time of year and had a question.

I have been catching them fairly shallow, around brush in about 4 to 5 fow.

Will this cold front really affect them much ?

My tactic for tommorow morn is to check the brush pile in the 4 to 5 fow range. And if not there to search deeper areas very close to the brush pile they were once at.

Does that make sense ?

Check your water temp upon arrival..If lower, chase them up to the nearest mouth of a cove or creek if they are not still in their usual haunts you have been gettin em..If you see baitfish, stay put..If not, follow the nearest creek till you find baitfish..They will start followin food!!!!!!

Makes a lot of sense, cold front just may move them out to deeper water but not too far. As u move out look for a bottom change.

I've found that when the water temp is in the upper 80's like it is here now that all a cold front will do is make the shallow bite a bit more aggresive,the loz flats fish i target usually don't make a substantial move until the water drops below 50 degrees i would guess your fish will react the same,if you don't find em in your spots keep looking in 2' increments they'll be somewhere close.

To be honest very close.....

Been finding them aroun brush about 2 feet deep in 4 to 8 fow.

Been pulling out about 20 a day for the last few days in about 6 hours, so kinda of slow. Not to many dinks though.

Both whites and blacks, along with about 40 huge bluegill last weekend.
