Question - Rend Lake
My buddy just bought his first boat last week and we are headed to Rend tomorrow for his innaugural voyage. I have fished the lake 3 times but never this time of year. Any general tips will be greatly appreciated! We normally fish for crappie but are willing to fish for blue gills or cats too.

Look for laydown trees on the bank and sunken brush sticking up in coves. Lots of fish are shallow 4 fow. Use minnows. Gun creek neck would be your best bet to catch fish and not tear up your new boat.lol. Good fishin
