We have spider rigged at Lake Washington in MS and had good success at times. We troll differently than most folks........in the trees, not in the open water. We found this year that in the trees, we needed to go very slowly (for several reasons!) and keep the outside poles as near the base of trees as possible. We used jigs tipped with Crappie Nibbles, set about 2 ft. deep in 5 to 6 fow. Keep your rod tips just a couple of inches above the water and have at it! If one thing doesn't work, try something else. Enjoy!
