Just went and looked, they say it is compatible. I knew it had an adaptor from mk to fit the Vexilar, but went
and looked at the site to make sure about my model. They listed the 8,10,18, several more.
I'm thinking this is just some of the funkiness of u.s., I would put the seperate transducer on, but don't have it.

I'd call & talk to Corey at Vexilar.He may know or 1 of the techs there should be able to help.
It does sound like it needs to have the brushes replaced. The last I heard they went for about 40$ & you put them in or they will for about 70$.

It could be some sort of interfernce problem too.
Have you tried to use it all by itself without hooking anything else to it?
