    Default Showdown

I bought a Showdown ice fishing depth finder last Winter and absolutely love it!!! It makes ice fishing so much easier... just find the depth the fish are and drop your jig just above them and you can watch them rise to take your bait! Name: 407970_1748157160857_1938245735_n.jpg

In this photo I was fishing Boyd Lake in Colorado and the crappie were suspended about half way down and I would have never known without my electronics!!

I still love my Vexilar... if a first flasher, one would be inclined to wonder how did I ever fish without one... watch yoru jig fall slow.. watch the fish come up to greet it, watch your pole bend slow.... life is good witha flasher.

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!! Flashers have come along way in the past few years. There werent many models out there when I got my first one 10 years ago. Now there are a bunch including Humminbird getting into the market a few years back. I really wish my Grandfather was alive to see the electronics we got today....

I have a HB Ice 45 that i would like to sell. Haven't posted it in the forum yet. It's a $400 unit and i'm asking $275. 2 years old but only used one season as we didn't get ice last season. Got a new vex fl-22 hd pro pack so this one has to go. PM me if interested. I have a video i put together i can send you.

I love them both, but I am more comfortable with the vex at this point due to the fact I have had it longer. But I really like the "bells and whistles" that the 'Bird has especially the LCD depth display.
