I have the black mickeys too, they didn't work for me. My toes got cold when I was still walking. Temps were in the low 30's.

I have a pair of Rocky blizzard stalkers that serve me well in zero temps. I also had a pair of surplus mickey mouse boots that did a good job on cold days. I loaned them to a friend of mine last winter and still have not got them back. :-(

I like the slip on of the mucks, but my toes still get chilled in the article pros. They are comfy tho.
    Lets fish it!

I have tried every combination of pac boots, socks, etc and just last year found the cats meow.

The are down-fill booties with gore-tex. They are so compressible I throw them over my shoulder or in my back walk to where ever it is I am going to (in a pair of light weight gore-tex hikers and gators).

Sit down take off my hikers and slide my feet into a pre-warmed (put hot packs in ahead of time) pocket of warm loving. Best setup I have ever found.

I love my Micky Mouse boots, Not exactly lightweight but on a boat who cares, I like warm feet.

Baffins are by far the best boot I've owned! Light weight and warm! My feet stay warm and dry if it's 30f or -30f! I use to only wear Micky Mouse boots, not anymore...
Crappie, specs, freckles, slabs...call them what ever you want! I'll just call them delicious!

I swear mine are gore-tex, but maybe just wind stopper....regardless, I have used these ice fishing on several occasion and never got wet.....and feet are toasty!

.......it seems like I have tried them all, including the Military Mickey Boots....and IMO the Muck Article Pro are by far the warmest and most comfortable boots I have ever owned. As long as my feet are warm, I can fish or Hunt all day..with Muck boots I do!
YOU CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS...BUT YOU CAN BUY FISHING GEAR.....AND THAT'S KINDA THE SAME THING.....
