Its mid-summer and most people who ice fish probably haven't seen their augers or locators other than in passing. With the ridiculous heat we've seen in the middle of the country, now might be a good time to fire up those augers for a couple seconds to freshen the fuel in the lines and carb. Its a great time as well to charge those locator batteries. Its these tiny things that can be done now that can prevent some big things from hindering your fishing when the ice forms.
