    I have always tried to eat what I kill, but getting tree steaks tender is the problem.

    It can be done. I was at the Princess Casino in the Bahamas years ago and went to their high class restaurant, yea a redneck had no business in there, and I could not figure out what was in my salad. I ask the waiter and he said heart of palm. It's the center of a palm tree. I stick in my salad!!!! What the heck!!! Like I said, I had no business being there.

    Oh i knew exactly what happened! When that gun went off and he just stood there for about 5 seconds and then just loped off I figured that I had hit that tree. Thing is is that I never even seen that limb to the left of the tree. One reason I don't like hunting till dark, vision gets impaired.
