The bulge buster has a shaft that pushes the brass through the die like a bullet sizing die, no shell holder. The die is open on top. Both the 380 and 223 die sets come with a #4 shell holder that fit on the press ram. The bad brass won't fit in either of these.
I have 3 sets of hand priming shell holders. Each set has a #4 holder. I'm using the loosest of the 3.
