Maybe a lot of them don't fish so they don't embarrass you by catching more and bigger. Just a thought.

My wife has caught fish in her life mostly sunfish but can't cast very well, doesn't like jigs and insists on worms. She does have biggest crappie between us which is fine. But despite seeing the numbers and average size i ketch she refuses to adapt.
