Looks mighty delicious! Going to try it about how long in oven? Just till chips are browned? Thanks for sharing.
Can you still taste the fish? Just wondering.
since they don't sell crab chips locally I hear good things from crushing Lays potato chips and then you could still add crab boil to egg wash for effect. our turn to host church small group so think I will make a variation as they all love the crappie when it's our turn to host.
Personally we like the smaller crappie from 9 to 10.5 inches to eat. We usually make the baked parmesan recipe on CDC which comes out great.
I finally seen these chips in the store and had to buy some to try them. The whole time I’m thinking about this recipe though.
What was that old commercial "Try it You'll Like it" or something like that.
Hdhntr, for frying it's really hard to beat a 10in fillet. P-nut here on the site pointed that out to me a while back and He is right too. Thanks for checking it out. The recipes page was getting cobwebs so these are getting run thru before posting.
