    Thanks for a real good report.Pinch yourself for getting to fish such a pretty place with your wife.Have u tried Seafoam yet on the outboard?Another fuel line?

    clean the carb and quit using ethanol in your engine.

    Attach ear muffs to water impeller holes on motor. Use a separate gas can and separate fuel line with bubble. Premix the 1-2 gallon can if necessary. Connect different fuel line, dip into premix can, and pump the bubble. Start the motor and let it warm up. Then start adding seafoam to the gas can. The engine will run badly because the seafoam reduces the octane but it cleans the motor. Don't put too much seafoam, add little at a time. Don't stall the motor. After 5-10 minutes, rev the motor to safe levels. Let the engine run a while, minimum 20-30 minutes. Afterward, use only ethanol free fuel.
    I recommend you do this soon before piston rings rust and you lose compression.
