    I've gone back to some of that lately myself. My catch rate isn't big but some of the fish are. Glad you brought the fun of this method front and center. A very rewarding way to fish. Nice looking bag o fish you have on the table.

    Those are some NICE crappie. I got started using a float and a pinkie jig. Caught lots of crappie w that set up. Lot to be said for the basics.

    I fish the way Dave and Lynn fish, my problem I guess is not knowing the Lake, creek or slough.been fishing the same lake (Creasant) and creek (dunes) with no luck for three years.
