    Those crappie are a pretty gold color. I'll bet that's fun. Never gets that cold down here in south Arkansas, although I do remember ONE time my cousin and I walked out on some ice on our grandparents' farm pond and got the whipping of my life because of it! Definitely needed it too. GTT

    Nice catch. I once fell through ice that was 3 inches thick but walked across a thin spot. Lucky for me it was only 5 ft deep there. Still had probelms getting out of the water as the ice then became slick as grease. Scared me to death and I was very cold getting to the car and then home. BE CAREFUL.

    It was a tad colder this morning. The fishing was a little slower also.
