BIG SLABS

Wow I live in Oregon and those slabs are awsome. We dont get them like that here. 14 inches is my biggest so far. I am a newby to winter crappie. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find any shallow fish. All at 20 to 25 ft in 30plus feet of water. Tough jigging that deep when they are on a very gentle bite. No tap at all. Just a very very light resistance on the rod tip. Can't feel it at all. The water temp is 58 deg. right now. Going to drop some quick in the next few days. Got a cold snap for a few days. Not a lot of structure in my lake. Few trees and a few brush piles. deep do you look for fish under these conditions?
Awesome catch!!!
Electronics is really a big part of winter fishing look for them deep at your lakes dam or in major creek channels. They will most often be feeding just off the bottom 5 feet or so. I like minnows also when fishing deep and have caught them as deep as 60 feet deep. Good Luck and keep trying.
