    Very nice beasty. That's a tactic I use. If the bite is on then suddenly disappear I switch to a larger lure and try to casting for something bigger, sometimes a big fish is there and you go home with a fun story.

    I have that happen before. I got the crappie and the bass. The bass was not even hooked. It had grabbed the crappie and would not let go.
