    Great article Jeff. Before I started doing much crappie fishing I would acasionally catch a huge crappie in the middle of nowhere while trolling for striper. Started down sizing my lures and catching more crappie. A lot of times in 60 to 70 feet of water trolling lures 20 feet deep. Especially in the hottest part of summer.

    great read, i have used the boards and they give you a nice spread when trolling with eight to ten rods.
