Yes, we (KDWPT) utilize electrofishing to sample fish in Kansas waters. It is NOT a legal method of take for obvious reasons. Fish are collected, weighed, and measured and then released back in to the lake.

I guess that's one way to make it easy to get some cats!

You might say that the cats got a charge out of it.
