Great read Brad, but i have a question to ask. Have you ever heard of anyone using dipsy divers for pulling cranks, my boat is equiped for ten rods and the dipsy divers make a wider spread for which i call flat lining.

    Default Divers for crappie

I haven't heard of any using divers for crappie fishing, however, you can expect to see more crappie anglers fishing with planner boards in the future.
