    15.25 is a nice fish where ever you live.

    That's a nice fish, but I would hold out for one bigger. A 15.25 inch fish is probably right at 2 pounds. Alabama has some much bigger fish in it's water ways, and if you go after them often enough your certainly going to land one sooner or later. Luck or not, your doing a little something right, so keep after them while the fish are the most easiest to find and catch during the spring.

    Good fish in any crappie fisherman's book, I'll take some that size any ole day.

    A trophy fish is in the eyes of the person who caught it. I will say this, there are bigger ones out there but if to you that's one you would like to have mounted by all means do so. A doe is a trophy to a beginner hunter. So your Crappie is a nice one and would be worthy of mounting just for your memories.

    Those are nice fish in anyone's book but there are bigger out there. Great start to becoming a crappie addict.
