great graph shot. I should have spent the money and got something bigger than the HB 597 hd di. ehall, I think the difference in color defines the hardness of the return. someone please correct me if I am wrong on that!

Yes farmboy, the difference in colors means strength of the return. Crappie are a scaled fish that show a nice strong return, but in this case they were marked on the edge of the cone so they show up as mainly yellow with a little red in the center, if I would have passed directly over them, the return of the fish would be red from one end of it to the other. I hope this helps out. Crappie almost always show a strong return. Catfish arches look different than other fish, but crappie, perch and stripers all return similar except for the size of the fish.
