    Awesome!! The challenge of figuring it out til you finally catch them is what got me hooked on fishing. Great story and glad you hung in there and finally outsmarted that big ol bass. Pow! Bam! (Couldn't resist... Lol)

    It might have been the same fish.......but then again you might have some more big ones hanging out there to. Anyway looks like you had a great thrill of the hunt...great reading on this cold morning.

    I didn't have a scale, but it measured 24 inches long, and according to some estimators online it shoulda weighed about 8.5 pounds. I've caught big bass, but I have to say, this is my personal best bass to date. And yes, I released it so that I could catch it again next year when hopefully it'll be over 10 pounds! lol

    Best leave them Green Carp alone and stick to real fishing !!!

    Great story. There may have been more bass there but I have caught the same bass twice myself on consecutive days. So I know where your coming from.
