Awesome event. When are we going to give the Monroe fishermen(woman) a second chance?

I talked to Speckanator and we are talking about the 2nd weekend in November...I am looking at trying to get to their Slabfest at Monroe in October...Maybe being that close to election time these darn gas prices won't hurt as bad!!!

Speaking for my "boat" we had a great time. The wind was really up and roaring. I started out away from the wind and stayed there, and soon the rest followed. lol
Looking forward to coming to Lake Talquin next season. I think had we done this early in the year , it would have been a lot closer in weight, but only the future will tell. Till the next time.

No mercy and I had a great time even though we had no contenders for talquin we had some nice fish. I would like to see Lake Monroe and would like to see how them folks fish down there.
