Yes it is. I like getting young kids started hunting & fishing & have a blast doing it. I've introduced a bunch of them to coon hunting & squirrell hunting over the years I actually have a young local neighbor boy down the road from a poor family that's wanting to come see how i make baits. I'm going to let him do it & then let him have everything he makes when he's done. I gave him a new spinning reel the other day & he thought it was the coolest thing ever. It does me good to see their faces light up.

I gave him a black widow rod today to mount his new spinning reel on & I'm taking him fishing tomorrow too. lol If the wind doesn't get to crazy that is.
