I am 67, retired, crappie fished all my life, for those 2-3 weeks in spring when crappie are biting! 3 dozen minnows, (3) double hook rigs, wrapped around a paper rod, cane pole, I was ready.

WOW, this forum, and its awesome members, have taught me so much. Trolling / pulling crankbaits and jigs out the back, pushing cranks and jigs out the front, spyder rigging, and my original method, but with jigs, Slab Sauce, and minnows. Plus, it's all year, if I'm willing to brave the elements.

I still have a lot to learn, but wanted to say THANKS, to the members.
